analogies...

When you like someone who has no feelings for you or worse..is already attached... the situation is somewhat like what the comic hero, Ironman faced. It's something like a piece of shrapnel which is lodged deeply in your heart... it can't be removed... and the more you touch it..the deeper it goes into your heart... you can only choose to ignore it... find some way to numb yourself from the pain... but somehow... you'll always notice it's presence... this is what people will experience when such stuff happens.. no matter how much they try not to think about it... that piece of shrapnel will always be there...

Everyone of us is born with a timebomb within themselves... Each person carries a different type of bomb with different lengths of fuse attached... the most explosive kind usually lies not in the hot tempered people..but in the quiet ones... these people usually have a huge bomb with a long fuse attached... they do not explode that easily..but when they do...the result can be devastating.. even fatal at times... the hot tempered kind usually have shorter fuses attached to a weaker but nevertheless powerful bomb... in our stressful lives nowadays... our fuses tend to light up more easily..causing the length to shorten at a great rate... if we do not keep ourselves in check and put out the light fuse regularly.. sooner or later we'll explode... and when we do.. not only do we hurt ourselves.. but others around us as well... recently, I have seen quite a number of cases of people having their timebombs going off..causing great grief to themselves and others... therefore.. we should take time each day.. to cool ourselves down.. put out the light fuse if any... try our very best not to let that bomb inside us explode...do it not just for yourself but for others too...

Happiness n sadness...

i find that sometimes.. in our lives... the happiness that we get is built upon the sadness of others.. how so? well..let's take a look at our modern society... almost everything we do is competitive in one way or another... we always want to get the best in life and will do whatever it takes to achieve it...we might not know it.. but such stuff has been going on since young... take exams for example.. you are happy when you get the 1st position in class.. but this is so because there is someone in the class who got the last position.. you are happy when u get the gold medal in a race but that's so because someone else finished last..in working perspective.. you feel happy when you are promoted but there's a chance that you got that post because the previous person was sacked... in love perspective.. you are happy that you got the girl/guy of your dreams..but someone else out there lost that dream person to you...

Therefore... isn't it right to say that one's happiness is built upon other's sadness? perhaps that's the way life works for us... whenever there is something gained.. something has to be lost... to maintain a balance... some yin yang theory.. bah ...this is life for you...
